Support groups

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing, we are holding our meetings via Zoom, still at the usual time opening at 1.30 for a 2.00pm start. Please visit the homepage of this website for details.

ASPIA has been hosting regular Partner Support Group Meetings in Burwood NSW on the first Saturday of every month (except January) since June 2003. In 2020 we changed to quarterly meetings held on the second Saturday of February, May, August and November. We meet from 1.30pm for a 2.00pm start, and generally finish up by 5pm.

We warmly welcome adults who are in a long-term or marital relationship with someone who has Asperger's Syndrome, as well as adults who have a parent, adult sibling, adult child or other family member with Asperger's Syndrome.

All meetings have a strong educational and support focus, with regular guest professionals providing presentations, answering questions and facilitating discussions. We have group guidelines to ensure all of our meeting and support contexts are constructive and respectful.

The cost is $10 for non-members or $5 for members. To find out more or to RSVP, please drop us a line, check out our Events page, or join our Meetup Group.
